I am soooo excited! Yesterday we held a bidder's conference for a recent Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure gang prevention and intervention services in the County. The focus of the funds is to build collaboration and coordination, as such, the RFP has a preference for partnerships implementing the proposed activities.

Without prompting, one of the agency representatives ask to find out where each of the other agencies provided services, so that they could better develop partnerships for the proposal. Many of the agencies expressed that this was the first time they had come into contact with the others. Everyone agreed on sharing their information and I am excited to see what develops and the proposals that come in!
